Here are some simple Javascript examples, they probably on work with IE and are not really for prodcution use, but are just example of how some things can be achieved. They are examples I use on a Web Page Design course that I teach.

This code is intended to be called from a page of thumbnails with an image name and a description, the image an description then getr displayed. If you don't have server side scripting (e.g. PHP) the this saves having one page per image.
